10-28-2012 Minutes of FLID meetings are below.
August 5 2012–Brainstormed ideas, coordinated meeting times, and introduced FLID
September 9 2012–Introduction of members, suggested promotional activities of organization through blog site and collaboration with other student groups. Planning for colloquium and discussion of privilege.
October 28 2012–Discussed female leadership positions verses male leadership positions, reported new blog URL, conducted Icebreaker activity, discussed previous “What does diversity mean to you?” blog post and responses, and reported on the planning status of our upcoming event.
January 20 2013–Mia Poole became Interim President, Angie Yip became Webmaster, planned for a call for applications to President and Treasurer positions, and discussed ideas for this semester’s event.
